The Mini-Double Tug is simply the smaller version of The Double Tug and was made for smaller dogs to be able to bite down and hold onto a bumper that fits their mouth. In the same way, its design was first conceived and patented by Katie's Bumpers in 2002 as a breakthrough innovation for trainers and regular folks alike to be able to train and interact with their dogs.
K9 Unit trainers have been using the Double Tug for target training for years by holding the handles on the ends, keeping the hands away from the dog's bite as it launches to bite down on the bumper. The handles on the ends can also be used for hanging the bumper when practising launching at a target, or for basic tugging fun with your pup.
